A class-action lawsuit against PayPal has been filed in the U.S., targeting the company’s public stock. The suit alleges that the company violated the Electronic Fund Transfer Act by placing holds, reserves, and limitations on account holders’ funds. If you’d like to join the suit, you should complete a claim form and submit it to the plaintiff’s law firm. The deadline for submitting the claim form is Oct. 22.
PayPal has denied these claims, but shareholders still have the right to sue.
The company is liable for the damages and legal fees associated with the settlement. The firm is urging PayPal shareholders to file suit in the federal court. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. The company must repay investors for their investments, or face a large court judgment. If you want to join the case, follow the steps listed below.
To join the lawsuit, you must first contact your attorney. Many lawyers specialize in filing shareholder-rights suits. They will help you identify whether you are a member of a class. In most cases, a plaintiff’s lawsuit will be filed in the U.S. state where you live. A plaintiff’s attorney will investigate your case on your behalf. The attorney will also make sure to provide you with all the necessary documentation, including any documents.
A settlement against PayPal is good news for PayPal shareholders.
The company has agreed to pay class-action plaintiffs’ attorneys’ fees if the case is successful. If you’ve been affected by this issue, you have the right to seek financial compensation from PayPal. To do this, you need to submit a claim form, which will be free and easy to use. You will be charged only if you win. You must have contacted PayPal customer service or tried to resolve the problem without success. However, you may have a valid claim that is worthy of a class action.
As a PayPal shareholder, you have the right to sue the company in a class action. To do so, you must be a shareholder. The class-action lawsuit will be a good opportunity for you to recover investment losses. You will be able to collect damages through the court. If you’re not, consider a private arbitration with PayPal. If your case is not resolved in court, you’ll be able to file in small claims court.
A class-action lawsuit against PayPal can be filed by anyone who has been affected by the company’s illegal actions.
You can choose a class action by contacting your state’s judicial department. You can use a certified demand letter to verify that you’ve sent the letter to the company. Your complaint should be filed in small claims court. Your case will be consolidated with those who have received your claim.
Other factors can prevent you from filing a class-action lawsuit against PayPal. For example, if you’ve been a victim of an illegal scam, you can’t file a class-action lawsuit if you haven’t lost money by using PayPal. Your lawsuit may be subject to the same regulations as other consumers who have lost money through PayPal. You must be a member of the PayPal-USA to join the case.
You can join the class-action lawsuit against PayPal by contacting the American Civil Liberties Union.
You can also join the PayPal-US-Ca. by completing the online form. It will be very easy to join. Simply fill out the form below to get started. Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll need to contact your state’s securities office. The AG’s office can help you file a lawsuit.
There are other reasons why you should join a class-action lawsuit against PayPal. Some of these reasons include the fact that you were unable to obtain a refund after using PayPal. You may have been a victim of the same reprehension, but you have the right to file a claim and seek a refund. This case is now pending in the US, where you can receive compensation. Then, you’ll be able to file a suit against PayPal and the company that caused you to lose money.
I can not get away from Paypal. They ran something through my bank today. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know how much.
pay pal was notified of a scam sale of a $717 fictitious laptop never arrived and an empty mailer with a tracking number arrived. pay pal was notified prior to funds released to stop and hold, ebay was also notified. the funds were paid an now pay pal refuses to refund provide transfer information..they are part of the scam, still collecting there money and fees.
PayPal is not honoring seller protection. I was charged back $2750 for a sale when the customer disputed the charge on his credit card. The buyer is using the product which is working fine. Refuses to return it after sending him a prepaid label.
Paypal tells me there is no seller protection as it was paid with a credit card.
How am I to know that? The buyer admitted he has done this before and requested that I file a claim with the shipper. The shipper will not pay without a product return. PayPal has no interest in protecting me.

Paypal has allowed another hacker to steal my account information, charge to my synchrony bank account and lock me out of my account. Then after I notified them they want me to resend in my identification to them. HELL No! I now have my credit score dropped because im not paying it!
SUE THEM GOOD!
PayPal allowed my account to be hacked. Money taken from my bank account. PayPal put my money back but before I could get it out of my PayPal account they suspended my account and took my money. I haven’t used my PayPal account in over ten years!!! Are there any other law suits that I can join in on? I’m tired of them doing this to their customers. I did a BBB claim and PayPal’s response was that they can suspend accounts and take money without having to give any explanation. They are a crappy company taking people’s money!
Any pending opportunity to sue Pay Pal for holding and not releasing funds to an established small business. They have held funds for 10 months nearying $250,000 and we have completed numerous reviews and been told the funds would be cleared. They have them locked down again. Any direction would be appreciated,
June 29, 2023,
In mid-April of this year, a magazine paid me for an article by depositing $100 into my PayPal account. At that time, I received an email from PayPal saying that I had money in my account. About two weeks ago, when I tried to spend some of that money, I discovered that none of it was left in my account, and a person named Michael Masuch was listed as the owner of my account. I immediately explained the situation to PayPal’s customer service chat platform. But I have not received any response from PayPal.
Paypal find me $2,500 for writing about digital dollar on facebook. Gave me nightmares
I do a lot of purchasing through paypal, not as much selling or processing via zettle. Most of my customers pay by check or cash, mostly because i pass on the processing fee. I had a customer pay for items via card. Paypal has decided to hold the funds because they want documentation of the transaction. Ive been a customer of paypal for 2 decades, never had an issue. Now they hold my money for fraud check. I paid via ach for the goods sold via paypal, so their tying up my funds prevents me from further investment in my company, I’m losing interest on MY money, plus I am still on the hook for the sales taxes. I want to participate in the suit.
i had auto pay setup for many months and then all of a sudden they take the payment and then return the payment only to charge me return check fee, WTF!!! sent them a message for them to do it again…the same account pays for all my paypal purchases at Starbucks etc, but they claim returned check fee, when its my debit card setup for autopay…2nd month in a row…..
they also cancelled my account due to late payment, 1st time…..well if auto pay is setup there never is a late payment nor a missed payment, I paid well over minimum payment every month. They cancelled my auto pay stating I didn’t have one setup, but my payments clearly show it. These guys are scum of this planet….POS for a company.
I filed a dispute and PayPal closed my account and won’t release my money for 120 days scammers and frauds is what they are I want to join class action
I filed suit against PayPal in Jackson County Circuit Court in Michigan. I was ordered to arbitrate. I appealed that order and The Court of Appeals recently denied my appeal so I am currently preparing my application for leave in the Michigan Supreme Court.
I am looking for similarly effected parties as described here that may want to join with Amicus Briefs.
